Yanmar Service and Spares Agent

Shipaid is the only British Authorised Service and Spares Agent for Yanmar Large Engine Division, one of the worlds major engine manufacturers, who export to more than 130 countries. We are responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs for all Yanmar engines in the high & medium speed range (100 h.p. - 5000 h.p.). An extensive range of spares is always held in stock and we operate a fast, efficient service direct with the manufacturers so that all parts can be obtained with the minimum delay.

Headquarters/Gateway to Europe... and the World

Our headquarters at Lincoln are ideally situated in the east central region of England. It is close to Humberside and East Midlands airports with their speedy European international connections (via Schipol and Heathrow) and there is easy access to the motorway system covering the country's ports.

Engine Types

Shipaid Diesel Services engineers are conversant with a wide range of engines including Yanmar, Daihatsu, all Ruston Paxman, Dorman, Caterpillar, GM, Cummins, Lister, Deutz, Mirrlees Blackstone, Allen, M.A.K, English Electric, Stork Werkspoor, Crossley, Polar, Bergen, Pielstick, Wichmann, Wartsila, B & W (medium speed), M.A.N. (medium speed), Sulzer (medium speed ) and many others.

Also Turbocharger types such as Brown Boveri, Napier & Holset.

Back-up Support

The whole operation is supported by the technical and practical expertise at our head office in Lincoln. There is a fully equipped workshop where we are able to overhaul generator engines, cylinder heads and fuel injection systems.

Specialist Services

We specialise in valve seat refurbishments, either on site or in the workshop, line boring and alignment checks.

Training

Good training is essential particularly as there are so many innovations within the industry. To ensure that our engineers are aware of the latest technological advancements and are able to give the most effective service, we have a continual in-house training programme. Many engineers also attend specialist courses organised by the engine manufacturers.
